Donegal Celtic's U14 squad was unlucky in both challenges for the league title and cup last season. We were defeated 1-0 on the final day of the season by Celtic Boys, who went on to take the title. The same opposition also beat us 4-3 in the cup final which was held at Donegal Celtic Park on May 5, 2007.
Kevin Short was our top goal-scorer for the third year in a row. Both Kevin Short and Ciaran McKenna were selected for the Northern Ireland representative squad.
