Donegal Celtic's reserve team enjoyed a sixth league win on the bounce on Wednesday evening at Celtic Park.
But it took a superbly struck free-kick from Damien Fegan in the final minute of the game to seal victory for Stephen Brown's side.
Celtic's second string dominated the game but found it difficult to score, until Fegan secured a win that takes the club to the top of the reserve team league.
First team players Kevin Duff, pictured, and James Lavery featured in the match but striker Robbie White was ruled out by suspension.
On Saturday, November 24, Donegal Celtic overturned a two-goal deficit to defeat Linfield 3-2 at Celtic Park.
On Wednesday 28th November, we defeated Portadown 4-1 with goals from Aaron Thompsonc(2),Tony Heagney and Hugh Murtagh.
We suffered defeat to Dunmurry Rec (1-0) in the Intermediate Cup after being reduced to 10 men early in the game, on Decembere 1 but just a few days later we enjoyed a 4-2 league win over Cliftonville. Aaron Thompson was again on target, this time hitting a hat-trick while defender Gerard McCabe also scored.
Unfortunately for McCabe, who has been pushing for a first team role again, also sustained an injury in the win over the Reds at Celtic Park.
