Debutant Paul McAreavey scored for Donegal Celtic and Stephen O'Neill claimed a hat-trick in Tuesday's handsome victory over Glebe Rangers at Riada Stadium in Antrim.
McAreavey's opener was soon added to with a Stephen O'Neill goal and Celtic were forced to step up a gear when the hosts narrowed that lead with a response that saw 'keeper Declan Brown beaten after a run of two consecutive clean sheets.
Thomas Lambe gave Celtic a two-goal cushion again before Liam Watson, scoring for the second game in a row, put the hoops 4-1 up against the league strugglers before O'Neill added another.
Kevin Duff made it 6-2 before O'Neill grabbed his hat-trick.
Jim McMenimen scored Celtic's eighth and final goal of the evening to confirm the club's biggest win of the season thus far.
